Message from Political (Bilateral and External) Section of the Philippine Embassy

I’m pleased to welcome you to the Philippine Embassy’s website and share some of its many important functions and responsibilities. 

One of the principal mandates of the Embassy is to protect and promote the interests of the Philippines and the Filipino people around the world.   This involves, among others, the Embassy’s political desk actively representing the country at numerous fora, as well as maintaining meaningful and productive government-to-government relations with host countries.  We also regularly interact with the Filipino community, the private sector, NGOs and other stakeholders in securing greater peace and development in the Philippines.

Message from the Economic and Information Section of the Philippine Embassy

Greetings and Mabuhay from the Economic and Information Section of the Philippine Embassy. 

Together with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in London, the Economic desk seeks to maximize the many business opportunities in the Philippines.  We work with public and private offices to enhance commerce and explore new areas of economic cooperation, as well as actively promote the strengths of the Philippines as a trade and investment partner. 

The Information desk helps provide the link between the Embassy and the community that it serves.   News, event updates, advisories, and information on Embassy services are regularly provided so that Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike may be better informed of the matters that interest and concern them the most.   The communication that develops between the Embassy and the public contributes towards better and more responsive services for everyone.  

It is my sincere hope that we can work together and advance the interests of the Philippines and all Filipinos around the world.
